Obituary:

"ARGUS The death of Mrs Mary Argus on 7 February, 1947, occurred in Melbourne. She was the daughter of James and Fanny Blennerhassett. She was born in Devenish 63 years ago and married in 1917 to Mr Thomas Argus, who predeceased her some years earlier. After their marriage they lived for sometime in NSW then went to Bunyip and after her husband's death, Mrs Argus resided in Croxton. She was a sister to the late John, Roger, William, Alick James (dec) and Bella (Mrs H Hooper, Benalla)."
