General:
Lauren was an insulin dependant diabetic from the age of 11. Caused by a viral infection that killed the part of the pancreas that makes insulin.
Lauren died 5 weeks after she turned 21 years. She died in her sleep next to the love of her life. Her death was from a viral infection that fatally damaged her heart. Her death was sudden as there were no signs that she was unwell.
